Shalunda Weatherall
I am an Anesthesia Support Specialist at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center. I have been employed there since June of 2007. I was previously employed at Provena from 1994-2005 before OSF took over. My job is to make sure that the Anesthesia Dept. has everything needed for each surgical case. I’m a mother of 2, but my 1st born son Rashaud’s life was taken at the age of 25 on Oct. 4, 2022, by the senseless gun violence that’s happening in our communities. My babygirl is a sophomore in college. I have 9 siblings and I fall in at #5. I was born and raised in the Champaign area. I’m a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church of Champaign where I’ve served as the choir president for 6+ years. In November of 2019, my journey of becoming a Habitat Homeowner began, and I moved into my new home in April of 2020. I am very excited for what I may be able to bring to the table and mostly for what I will be able to learn from others by becoming a Habitat Board Member.
