Everyone deserves a decent place to live, including man’s best friend! During “Raise the Woof!” teams of friends, families, and coworkers come together to build their best version of a pet house and compete against other teams for trophies and bragging rights. All the money raised via Raise the Woof! goes towards funding Habitat for Humanity home builds here in Champaign County.
Raise the Woof! 2022: And the “Most Pup-ular” Award Goes To…..
A giant “thank you” to everyone who voted to help us determine this year’s winners of the “Most Pup-ular” award. Every single build team received votes from the public, and it was a close vote. This year’s winners are Jamerson & Bauwens in the “Old Dogs” category and Human Kinetics in the “Young Pups” category. Congratulations!
Everyone’s favorite pet habitat building competition is back for a fourth year! This year’s Raise the Woof! event will be taking place on Saturday, September 17th, and is sure to be a fun day of construction, creativity, and camaraderie. The theme for this year’s event is “A Home 4 All” and we’re letting teams build any sort of dog, cat, bird, or small animal habitat…the sky is truly the limit. And as always, every dollar raised via our Raise the Woof! event goes directly towards a home build with a local family in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing.
We are currently seeking build teams for this year’s event! Raise the Woof! is an amazing team building opportunity for any business or organization….plus you are showing your community that you support the important work that Habitat for Humanity does to increase access to affordable housing and home ownership opportunities.
