During “Raise the Woof!” teams of friends, families, and coworkers come together to build their best version of a pet house and compete against other teams for trophies and bragging rights. All money raised via Raise the Woof! helps fund Habitat for Humanity home builds here in Champaign County.
Raise the Woof! 2023 is coming! Save the date: Saturday, September 9th!
Everyone’s favorite pet habitat building competition is back for a fifth year! Raise the Woof! 2023 will be taking place on Saturday, September 9th, and is sure to be a fun day of construction, creativity, and camaraderie. The theme for this year’s event is “Under One Woof” in celebration of Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County and ReStore’s recent relocation to a brand new space that we now call home!
This year, teams can build any sort of dog, cat, bird, or small animal habitat…the sky is truly the limit. And as always, every dollar raised via our Raise the Woof! event goes directly towards a home build with a local family in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Help us choose this year’s “Most Pup-ular”! Cast a vote for your favorite house in both the “Old Dogs” and “Young Pups” build categories. Voting ends at 11:59 pm on Monday, September 25th.
