Johnson Family
Born and raised in Champaign, SaDa Johnson is a dedicated mother and is deeply rooted in our community. “I love spending time at my church, Zion Hill Ministries and Restorations Urban Ministries,” SaDa shares. A proud graduate of Central High School, SaDa has dedicated nearly two decades to the Champaign Unit 4 School District. “I’ve been working as a Bus Monitor for 19 years now,” she says. “I love working with kids.”
Ervin Family
Al’kela Ervin is a lifelong resident of Champaign-Urbana. One of her favorite aspects of C-U is our community spirit. “I’m happy that we can all come together to make special memories and reach goals and milestones.” A graduate of Centennial High School, Al’kela currently works at the Housing Authority of Champaign County. She has been with the organization for nearly two years, dedicating her efforts to improving housing conditions and opportunities within our community.
Medina Family
Tamara Medina is a longtime resident of the Champaign-Urbana community. Graduating from Centennial High School in 2018, Tamara currently serves as a Mortgage Operation Representative at First Federal Savings Bank of Champaign-Urbana. Outside the professional realm, Tamara enjoys reading, spending quality time with loved ones, and indulging in her passion for crafting delectable cake pops.
